About Foothill Surgery Center

The Foothill Surgery Center at Sansum Clinic is a fully equipped and professionally staffed outpatient surgery center. The anesthesia methods used in our facility help provide a short recovery period and our pleasant atmosphere and helpful staff can minimize the anxiety that can come with having surgery.

Foothill Surgery Center is located in Elings Pavilion, Building A at Sansum Clinic Foothill Medical & Surgical Center, a modern 60,000 square foot facility with new medical space for specialty and surgical care with the latest equipment and technology. The Medical & Surgical Center is home to many of our medical specialists who are also skilled surgeons. The new center allows them to see patients for routine and follow-up care at the same facility where they perform advanced outpatient surgical procedures.

The Medical & Surgical Center was named Elings Pavilion in honor of Dr. Virgil Elings who contributed $1 million to Sansum Clinic. This generous gift is a much needed infusion into our healthcare system that doesn't come from patient, employer or government funding. We are fortunate to have a visionary like Dr. Elings in our community.

Foothill Surgery Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc.

Sansum Clinic is a 50l(C)(3) California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation, and is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality.
