Janet Garufis has held the title of Montecito Bank & Trust Chairman and CEO since 2006. She began her banking career as a teller more than 40 years ago with Security Pacific Bank, now Bank of America. She rose through the ranks of retail banking and, after completing the Security Pacific Management Training
Program, successfully led retail banking, commercial banking and private banking organizations.
She currently serves as President of the Federal Reserve’s National Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council. In addition to her advisory role for Sansum Clinic, she is deeply embedded in community service through board and trustee roles for a broad array of local organizations and foundations.
