Facial Plastic Surgery Procedures
At Sansum Clinic, our facial plastic surgery team believes the initial consultation is a very important first step in the ongoing relationship that we build with you. It’s an opportunity for us to learn about your goals and expectations for plastic surgery and to discuss your health and medical history. By actively listening to what you wish to accomplish, we can inform you of the different treatment options that are available and present you with recommendations that can best achieve the desired outcome. The initial consultation also provides you with the opportunity to ask questions, explore alternatives, and discuss potential risks and benefits of plastic surgery.
We place a premium on our relationship with you. It is our goal to make sure that your comfort is assured, your privacy is maintained and you have the correct and necessary information to make informed decisions. Our private, centrally located Santa Barbara office helps provide our patients with the discretion they need at an easy to access location.

Your initial consultation provides a chance for you to ask questions and explore your plastic and cosmetic surgery treatment options — including non-surgical options — in a relaxed and comfortable environment. For the doctor, it’s an opportunity to learn about your goals, expectations, and medical history. You will have time to meet with our plastic surgery nurse, Heather Grieco, RN, BSN, ANS. She will be able to answer any questions you may have about the pre and post-operative cosmetic surgery experience, anesthesia, and recovery. She will provide you with an estimate of cost and surgical date that meets your schedule. You will be given an opportunity to review before and after photographs of actual plastic surgery patients as well. Your cosmetic surgery consultation will be conducted in a private room in our comfortable and quiet office in Santa Barbara. Spouses or friends are welcome to accompany you.
