Comprehensive Diabetes Education Program
Sansum Clinic’s comprehensive diabetes education program provides up-to date information and support to help you manage your diabetes for the best health possible. Patients with diabetes who require more specialized care are referred to our Endocrinology Department.
Diabetes in Pregnancy
One-on-one support is available for pregnant individuals who have type 1 or 2 diabetes or have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Patients are referred to the Diabetes Educator by their OB as needed.

Diabetes Basics
This free 4-week program is recommended for anyone with prediabetes or diabetes, especially newly diagnosed. You will learn:
- How you can manage your blood sugar
- Why checking blood sugar can improve your health
- About nutrition and Yes! you can eat fun foods
- Why physical activity is important
- About stress, sleep, and your blood sugar

Individual Diabetes Education
