About
Dr. Tobis has fellowship training and significant experience in the minimally-invasive surgical treatment of many benign and malignant urologic conditions. Trained by top surgeons in New York and California, Dr. Tobis performs more robotic surgery and radical prostatectomies than any other urologic surgeon on the Central Coast. He is Chair of the Department of Urology at the Greater Central Coast Division of Sutter Health. Dr. Tobis applies the most advanced techniques for patients facing various urologic conditions to help preserve normal function. He treats patients for urologic cancers (prostate, kidney, bladder, ureter, testis), prostate enlargement/BPH, vasectomy, kidney stones, and overactive bladder. As a third-generation physician, patient-centered care is in his DNA. When not operating, he loves to ski, cycle, run, hike, and attempt to keep up with his kids.
