Approach to Patient Care:Dr. Golan strives to provide an environment where patients can feel confident they will receive high-quality, up-to-date urological care with clear explanations, and be comfortable discussing any and all of their urologic issues. He loves his profession and recognizes the significant responsibility of being entrusted with the care of his patients in the clinic, hospital, and operating room.
Medical Training and Research:Dr. Golan completed his fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center (NYC) in endourology and minimally-invasive surgery, focusing on complex kidney stone disease, robotic and endoscopic surgery of kidney cancers, and minimally-invasive surgeries of the bladder, prostate, and kidneys. His surgical internship and urologic residency were completed at Weill Cornell Medical Center – New York Presbyterian, a renowned academic medical center in the heart of New York City, along with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. This high-volume training, under the guidance of numerous experts in the field, prepared Dr. Golan to treat nearly all aspects of surgical and medical urology.
Dr. Golan is co-author of “Operative Dictations in Urologic Surgery”, a leading surgical textbook for urologists and trainees providing detailed descriptions on more than 120 urological surgical procedures. He has published over 20 peer-reviewed research articles in leading journals, and has given numerous presentations at national and international conferences.
