About
Hank Peterson has been a physical therapist for over 24 years, but his appreciation for sports medicine started long before.
After graduating from UCLA with his Bachelor's of Science in 1989, Hank went on to play professional water polo in Italy and trained as a member of the National Olympic Water Polo team. From there, Hank returned to the U.S. and earned his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from USC in 1996.
Initially, he worked at Kaiser Sunset which is where he began mastering his skills in manual therapy with specialization in neuromuscular reeducation. Twenty years ago, Hank moved to Santa Barbara where he has been delivering Physical Therapy services to patients at Sansum Clinic.
Hank lives in Santa Barbara with his beautiful wife, Dr. Susie Ramos, with whom he has four lovely children. Beyond his professional commitments, Hank finds joy in a plethora of sports, with a special passion for surfing, paddling, water polo and basketball.
