How are star ratings for providers determined?

Star ratings are based on responses to survey questions that focus on a patient's likelihood to recommend the provider's office to family and friends as well as the provider's care, including whether the provider listened carefully, spent enough time with you, explained things in an easy-to-understand way, and seemed to know important information about your medical history. Press Ganey averages and converts all survey responses into a single star rating, with five stars being the highest.

Emilie Halbach, MD joined the Urgent Care Department in January  of 2022. She is a graduate of the University of California Davis School of Medicine, and completed her family medicine residency at Ventura County Medical Center. Dr. Halbach works as a hospitalist, and for Healthcare For The Homeless in Ventura County. She has worked previously at Ventura’s Academic Family Medicine Center and Hillmont Inpatient Psychiatric Unit. She also volunteers with Girls Inc. in Carpinteria.
