Countering Chemo Brain: Strategies and Interventions to Counter Cancer-Related Cognitive Impairment

Many cancer patients complain about decreased cognitive efficiency both during and after different cancer treatments. Dr. Ercoli will discuss the syndrome called Cancer-Related Cognitive Impairment or CRCI (colloquially named ‘chemo brain’ or ‘chemo fog’). For some cancer survivors, these symptoms persist posttherapy and negatively impact their everyday activities. The lecture will include an update on the potential causes of CRCI and the latest research on strategies and interventions to counter it.
