What benefits do you offer?

The type of benefits offered can vary depending on whether the job is part-time or full-time.
Are there opportunities for growth and advancement?
Sansum Clinic understands the value of investing in employee education and development. Through the generous support of donors, Sansum Clinic established the McNamara Fund for Professional Enrichment and Education, and the Nursing Scholarship Program, to support both clinical and non-clinical employees with educational endeavors enabling them to reach their career goals. These programs make a direct impact on our community by offering the assistance deserving staff needs in order to afford higher education, and by developing our next generation of leaders. Sansum also strives to promote from within and offers various training opportunities throughout the year.
Will I have the ability to work remotely?
While some departments have allowed employees to work from home due to the nature of their responsibilities, the majority of the positions we are recruiting for are in-person positions, unless otherwise noted.
Will I receive training for my specific position?
All new employees learn how to use our computer systems, including our Charting system, during their first week of training. The rest of an employee’s training is department-specific, and the length of time devoted to training depends on the position.
Will I need to receive a COVID-19 vaccination in order to work at Sansum Clinic?
Sansum Clinic is committed to providing a safe environment for both our employees and patients. To that end we have amended our hiring and onboarding practices to enhance safety. As of August 23, 2021 we will require all new hires to complete COVID 19 vaccination to comply with the State of California’s Public Health Officer Order requiring all health care workers to be vaccinated as a condition of employment. Qualified applicants may request exemption to the vaccination requirement for medical or religious purposes.

If I currently work at Sansum Clinic, how do I apply as an internal applicant?
Current employees must log in to the careers site using their eTime credentials and apply as internal candidates. In order to be eligible for a transfer, you must be in your current position for 1 year, be in good standing, and notify your current manager. If you have any questions on these requirements, or would like to request an exception, you should reach out to your Business Partner.
Once I apply, how long does the process take? When will I be contacted?
The time varies for each position within Sansum Clinic, based on a multitude of factors including each department’s own unique priorities and timelines. You can check the status of your applications when you log in to the recruiting site.
